Isabelle MacLean

Isabelle is a third-year student in the Juris Doctor and Certification in Common Law in French program at the College of Law. She was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. Prior to pursuing legal studies, Isabelle earned an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in International Studies and Modern Languages from the University of Ottawa. Throughout law school, Isabelle has enjoyed working as both a Research Assistant for the Ariel F. Sallows Chair in Human Rights and as a Parliamentary Researcher for Senator Brent Cotter. This past summer, she interned at Juristes Power Law in Vancouver, and will return for articles in the future. Outside of law school, Isabelle competes nationally on behalf of the University of Ottawa in artistic swimming and enjoys cooking, travelling, and being outdoors.
