David Werner

Taanishi, David is a Métis student in his third-year of law student at the College. He has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Alberta and B. Ed. from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to law school, David worked at a Métis college teaching adult education. Two summers ago David had an amazing summer at Semaganis Worme Legal. While in law school David and his partner Rheana welcomed their first child into their family. David says, 2L with a newborn was a wild ride. Outside of law school David enjoys spending time with his family, archery, watches and cooking. Next year, David has a clerkship at the Court of Kings Bench and hopes to work in Indigenous law in the future. ekosi
